a star
WITH UNIQUE PERFORMANCE

The thing that distinguishes a star is its charisma and sovereign apparance. With the new Starliner, the superstar among tourning coaches, our engineers and designers have developed a vehicle with the kind of performance that you have never before experienced: regarding road safety, in terms of innovative technology and functions - though above all in respect to the convenience and safety when travelling. A vehicle that follows in the tradition of the Neoplan brand, it does justice to its demands like no other and gives its passengers the feeling of star-like travel: the new Starliner

A STAR FROM HEAD TO TOE

Nothing is distributed by the harmonious front with its prominent headlamps. The windscreen wipers disappear behind a front flap when they are not required. Side windows that flow gently over the roof and the forwards angled window pillars pick up a characteristic shaping feature of legendary predecessor models and reinterpret them. Its athletic rear form with the dynamic curved tail lights perfect the impression.

FLAP AND ACTION: WINDSCREEN WIPERS

The flap that releases the windscreen wipers is opened automatically on actuation of the windscreen wiper lever.

PLEASING TO EYE: TRIM ELEMENTS

The same care and attention to detail that distinguishes the overall design of the Starliner can also be seen in the details, such as the chrome elements on the front and rear and beneath the three pillars.

SPOT ON FOR SIGHTS WORTH SEEING
highlights

The Starliner has style - great and small: Its elegant form and modern design right down to the smallest detail make it an unmistakable eyecatcher in any enviroment. Unusual design ideas and the courage to explore new territories were waved in front of its shaping concept like a red flag. Those who see it have only one desire: The journey should commence!

ROW UPON ROW
of premium seats

Imagine that the world is putting on a gala and you are sitting in the first row - in a uniquely comfortable seat that adapts gently to your body. Wishful dreams? Not in the new Starliner. The modern, ergonomically perfect high-tech seats make your travelling dreams and reality - and in every row, right from the front to right at the back.

PERFECT MEDIA PRESENCE

Functionality and exquisite design in information and entertainment as well: The central screen in the vehicle dome offers the passengers the best view from all seats.

DAY LIGHT EXAMPLE: THE CEILING LIGHTING

On request, the Starliner turns the night into day: When the sun sets, the lighting in the curvature of the side windows assures that the light still comes from the same direction - thus always giving the interior a natural light.

ACOUSTICS LIKE A CONCERT HALL

The Surface Sound System of Starliner offers its passengers an unforgettable sound experience: It has no loudspeakers in the conventional sense but uses instead the entire ceiling of the bus as a resonance body by way of exciters.

FOR COMFORTABLE TRAVELLING

Comfort, light, sound and optical appeal - the interior of the new Starliner shines with many talents: from 38 kW air conditioning system, that markedly improves the air inside the bus leading design of the floor strips to the inovate light and sound concepts. In the Starliner every journey becomes an outing for the senses.

MAIN ROLE FOR YOUR DRIVER

The modern cockpit, developed together with technical university in Munich, shows where the boss sits: at a multifunction steering wheel with all the important operating functions, and more stowage space for the driver and co-driver than in my other tourning bus or coach.

CUE: BOARD AND LIGHT

Wide doors and steps allow your passengers comfortable access and exit.

COOL ENCORE FOR ALL

The refrigerator of the Starliner is the most spacious and comfortable in its class - a cool extra in XXL with 56 litres of storage volume for the driver and passengers.

ALL ONBOARD

The new Starliner kitchenette offers almost everything that the heart desires in a compact space.

RATED valuable:
ITS INNER VALUES

It's well worth taking a closer look at the Starliner. Even the interior captivates with its perfect interplay of design and function: The ergonomic shaping of the cocpit sets standards, the generous entrances and exits and stowage compartments provide a source of admiration.

safety first -
TECHNOLOGY OF THE FINEST ORDER

With a successful combination of intelligent systems, the Starliner offers active and passive safety at the highest level. It therefore provides its passengers with the comforting feeling that they are travelling safely at all times, even in critical situations - the most important requisite to enjoy the journey.

ACIVE SAFETY "IN ACTION"

The "Electronic Stability Programme" (ESP), installed as standard, provides assistance during cornering and in evasive manoeuvers by regulating the brakes at all wheels and the engine output in a targeted and individual manner. In this way, the risk of skidding or wheel slip is drastically reduced at the thresh old limits.

MULTI-TALENT: THE RUNNING GEAR DAMPING

Depending on the speed, road condition and load status, the active system, installed as standard, alters the balance of the electronically controlled damping system (CDS) and adapts it optimally to the relevant conditions. Advantage: Safe road handling in critical situations with maximum driving comfort.

TRUE RUNNING CAMERA EYE

The "Lane Guard System" (LGS) follow the markings on the road via a camera: If the bus drifts off lane, the driver is given a signal by way of electric vibrating motors integrated in the seat.

AUTOMATIC DISTANCE CONTROL

The "Adaptive Cruise Control" (ACC) registers the area of traffice in front of the vehicle via a radar sensor and automatically maintains the desired distance from the vehicle travelling ahead by subtle brake intervention of the retarder.

PREVIEW FOR THE NEXT CORNER

With its Bi-Xenon headlamps, the Starliner beams not only particulary far but it also features an additional cornering light with which it can look around the corner. Corners are therebly lit up spaciously; the run of the road and possible obstacles can be detected in advance.

SAFETY AT HIGHEST LEVEL:

ABS   Anti-lock Breaking System - Prevents blocking of the wheels during braking.
ACC   Adaptive Cruise Control - Distance regulated road speed goverenor
ASR   Anti-Skid Regulator - Prevents the wheels from slipping
BAS   Brake Assist System - Electronically controlled brake servo
CDS   Comfort Drive Suspension - Electronic, infinitely variable damper control
EBS   Electronic Braking System - Reduction in stopping distance and greater vehicle            stability during braking.
EHLA  Electrohydraulic steering system - Makes an even tighter turning circle possible
LGS     Lane Guard System - Seat vibration if vehicle drifts off lane
MSC   Maximum Speed Control - Vehicle maintains preset speed even downhill
Xenon Day-like light - Lights up the road optimally
